There’s something quietly magical about getting a second chance at a moment you thought had passed you by. On April 25, under soft lights and a swirl of satin and sequins, that’s exactly what unfolded at our second annual New Heights Prom. This year’s theme—Masquerade—set the tone for an evening that was equal parts celebration and nostalgia.

The venue was transformed into a mysterious escape. Shimmering décor created an atmosphere that felt both intimate and electric; masks of every kind—feathered, jeweled, minimalist, extravagant—added an air of intrigue. Our DJ understood the assignment perfectly, blending classic throwbacks with current hits that kept the dance floor alive all night. For those who wanted a break from dancing, there were experiences tucked throughout the evening. A caricature artist captured guests in playful sketches and a tarot card reader offered glimpses into possible futures.

One of the highlights of the evening was the awarding of the Prom Court. Cheers filled the room as names were announced. The recognition, community, and celebration was a reminder: it’s never too late to celebrate yourself!
